Rango 🥰

It's been 8 incredible years since Rango came into my life, and honestly, every day with him is a joy. He's an 11-year-old Appendix horse, and if you're not familiar with the breed, they're known for their athleticism and intelligence. Rango definitely embodies that, especially in his younger days when we were really into barrel racing. Those were such thrilling times! Now, at 11, Rango has settled into a more relaxed rhythm. He absolutely adores our trail rides, exploring new paths, and just taking in the scenery. It's truly amazing to see how much he enjoys just being out in nature. He's incredibly gentle, which makes him perfect for anyone, even friends who are new to horses. He really has a wonderful 'build' in terms of both his physical presence and his calm demeanor, making him a joy to ride and be around. What I love most about Rango is his silly side. He'll sometimes make the funniest faces or do little playful nudges, especially when he's looking for a good neck scratch! There's nothing quite like that bond you form with a horse. When he leans into your hand, enjoying a good scratch, it just melts your heart. It's a simple act, but it speaks volumes about the trust and affection we share. He's truly a master at showing when he's comfortable and happy. Being an Appendix horse, Rango has a fantastic physique – strong, agile, but also incredibly responsive. Keeping him happy and healthy means a good routine, from his daily turnout to his yummy hay and grain. We keep him at a lovely stable where he gets plenty of attention and space to roam. It's important to me that he's always comfortable and well cared for, ensuring he has a safe and loving environment that contributes to his gentle nature. He truly is my best friend. People often ask what makes him so special, and it’s hard to put into words, but it’s his loving spirit that shines through everything. Whether we're out on the trails or just hanging out in his stall, he brings so much joy to my life. If you're considering getting a horse, just know the commitment is huge, but the rewards, like the unconditional love from a horse like Rango, are absolutely priceless.
