Bumps on back of arm GONE…ish??
If you’ve ever dealt with those annoying little bumps on your arms or legs (aka keratosis pilaris or “chicken skin”), you know the struggle is real. For YEARS, I tried everything—scrubs, lotions, oils—but nothing seemed to work. I honestly just accepted that smooth skin wasn’t in the cards for me.
But then I discovered AmLactin Daily Nourish Lotion with 12% lactic acid, and let me tell you—it’s been a game-changer! 🙌
What Even Is Keratosis Pilaris?
If you’re not familiar, KP happens when your hair follicles get clogged with keratin (a protein your body naturally produces). The result? Rough, bumpy skin that feels impossible to smooth out. While it’s harmless, it can be super frustrating if you want that soft, silky skin feeling.
For me, KP has been my skin’s arch-nemesis, especially on the backs of my arms. No amount of exfoliating or moisturizing seemed to make a difference—until now.
My AmLactin Routine
I started using AmLactin Daily Nourish Lotion about 2 weeks ago, and let me just say: GAME. CHANGER. 🧴 I apply it every night after my shower, focusing on the areas where I have KP (mainly my arms).
What I love most is that it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. It soaks in quickly and actually makes my skin feel soft and hydrated immediately. After about a week, I noticed the bumps were getting smaller and my skin started feeling so much smoother. Like, I was touching my arms all day because I couldn’t believe the difference! 🤯
Fast forward to now, and my KP is the best it’s EVER been. The bumps are barely noticeable, my skin feels soft, and I’m finally feeling confident rocking sleeveless tops again.
Why Lactic Acid Is the MVP
The magic ingredient here is lactic acid. It gently exfoliates dead skin cells and clears out that keratin buildup while keeping your skin hydrated. It’s like a one-two punch for KP, and I’m here for it!
Final Thoughts
If you’re battling keratosis pilaris like I was, I highly recommend giving this lotion a try. It’s honestly one of the only things that has actually worked for me, and I wish I had discovered it sooner.
Here’s to smoother, happier skin! ✨

i use this, i use it on my face (cheeks), arms, and arms. surprisingly it doesn’t dry out my face, i use a goldbond rough and bumpy body cream on my face and arms/legs (trust ik its for your body but its helped alot on my face too) and i use a salicylic acid acne spot treatment as well (only on the face), its helping, but very slow, im not sure what else to do ive dealt w this since 2nd grade and im in high school it ruins my confidence🥀🥀
