how i got rid of my fungal acne 🩷
hi girlies!!! a couple months ago, i randomly started to get a bunch of red bumps on my temple. i immediately freaked out because i thought it was because i got off birth control and this was hormonal acne coming to get me. however, i started searching it up and realized it was fungal acne. if yours looks like this, it might be too!
some signs it’s fungal acne:
- itchy
- clusters of small red bumps
- acne that doesn’t respond to treatment (salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, etc)
- usually on forehead or by forehead
i am not sure why anti-dandruff works so well, i found out abtout it on tik tok. i believe the reason why it helps fungal acne is because it contains zinc. so really, anything that has zinc in it, will work. i starts seeing results 2 days after use, the fungal acne started to get less and less red and the bumps ended up disappearing. there is still scars on my face from it which is really annoying. i am currently working on getting rid of them with topicals faded serum but if you have any other recommendations please let me know!
