Nothing in my life was random 🦋🤎
I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately…
and something just hit me in a way I can’t ignore.
Years ago, I worked 7pm–7am in a factory.
I made really good money… but I was gone more than I was home.
My husband hated it.
Not because of the job… but because of what it was taking from me.
He kept telling me:
“You should quit.”
“You should start your own business.”
And I’ll be honest…
I didn’t get it.
I didn’t see it.
I didn’t even know what I would do.
One day he bought me a book and told me to read it.
I took it to work with me every night…
and never opened it.
Later, he bought me a laptop and new phone.
And every time he said the same thing:
“Now you can start your own business.”
And every time… I brushed it off.
Not because I didn’t care—
but because I didn’t believe I could.
Fast forward to now…
After going through a hard season…
after feeling stuck…
after questioning everything…
I finally found something that showed me how.
The craziest part?
At first, he told me no.
We didn’t have the money.
He thought it might be a scam.
So I saved… and I took a chance on myself anyway.
And now?
He’s my biggest supporter.
Telling people how proud he is of me.
Watching me build something I once couldn’t even imagine for myself.
And I keep coming back to this thought…
That book.
That laptop.
That desk.
His words all those years🥺
None of it was random.
He saw something in me…
that I couldn’t see yet.
And maybe the wildest part of all of this is…
I couldn't see the vision he had for me.
I couldn't see myself doing anything but working a 9-5.
He believed in me.
The seeds were being planted long before I knew this would be a possibility for my life 🦋🤎
