This year I am definitely focused on becoming the best version of myself mentally! I have struggled all my life with so much negative thoughts and this year is truly going to be different!
I have 3 habits I am going to continue to do without any excuses!
Habit 1 - I am going to become stronger in my faith. I have already started on reading my daily devotional. Waking up each morning and before looking at my phone I’ll sit in my little corner on the count and read the small passage for the day! This being so much positivity into my day immediately!
Habit 2 - I am going to get outside and enjoy the outdoors with my kids and family! What is better than looking around and enjoying the amazing views! Looking up at the clouds and remembering there is more out there than your phone, work, or tv! Just to sit back and breathe and laugh is just so good for the mind!
Habit 3 - Take time out of the week for myself! My favorite this to do is hangout with my sissy! Ugh she is just my best friend and when we are together we do nothing but laugh until we are crying! Laughing so good for the soul! It just makes me feel so good and happy to see my sister!
With all of these habits and I am hopeful that this year with be amazing! And my mental health will truly be healed from the inside out!

One effective practice is engaging with spiritual texts or daily devotionals, which can set a positive tone for the day ahead. Research indicates that starting mornings with uplifting content not only enhances mental clarity but also fosters a more optimistic outlook on life.
Moreover, spending time outdoors is another vital component of self-improvement. Studies have shown that connecting with nature can significantly reduce stress, improve mood, and boost overall mental health. Simple activities like hiking, walking, or even just sitting in a park can lead to substantial mental benefits, reminding us to appreciate the beauty around us and take breaks from our busy lives.
Lastly, personal connections, particularly with family or friends, play a crucial role in mental health. Laughter, as mentioned in your habits, is known for its positive effects on the brain and can help reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. Making time for loved ones often results in deepened relationships and stronger support systems, which are essential for navigating life's challenges.
By integrating these three habits into your routine, you not only nurture your mental health but also create a pathway for continuous personal growth, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling life.
