WINTER CHRISTMAS VILLAGE🎄🏘️☃️

Rehoboth Beach

... Read moreIf you're planning a trip to Schellville Village, the Rehoboth Christmas Village, here are some personal tips to make your visit even more magical! I found that arriving either right when they open or a little later in the evening helped avoid the biggest crowds, especially on weekends. Parking can get a bit tight during peak hours, so consider carpooling or arriving early to snag a good spot. While general admission to Schellville is usually free, remember that specific activities like the delightful 'Schellville Express' train ride and ice skating have separate fees. It’s a good idea to check their official website before you go for current hours, pricing, and any special events they might be hosting. Budgeting for these activities, along with all the delicious food and drinks available, will ensure you have the best experience without any surprises. The train ride, as captured in those beautiful OCR images, is an absolute must-do! Riding through that dazzling tunnel illuminated by countless white Christmas lights felt like stepping into a holiday dream. It truly brings out the kid in everyone. The miniature Christmas village, with its tiny houses and intricate details, is incredibly charming – I spent a good while just admiring the craftsmanship. And yes, the large toy soldier figure standing guard makes for a fantastic photo opportunity that you won't want to miss! Beyond the main attractions, explore the various shopping vendors for unique holiday gifts and local crafts. For foodies, there's a wide array of options, from classic festive treats to savory meals. And if you get a chance, try the igloo dining experience – it's incredibly cozy and adds an extra layer of enchantment to your visit, especially on a chilly Delaware evening. Don't forget to bundle up, especially if you plan on joining in the fun snowball fights – they're surprisingly exhilarating! The towering Christmas tree, brightly lit with numerous lights and colorful ornaments, is a spectacular sight and the heart of the village. It really sets the festive tone. What I cherished most about Schellville is its truly immersive and festive atmosphere. Every corner offers a new dazzling display, creating lasting holiday memories for both kids and adults. It’s certainly one of the best things to do in Rehoboth Beach during the holiday season!
