Day 6 & 7 working on drawing my dog Carina.

Working on a detailed drawing of a beloved pet like my dog Carina has been such a rewarding experience. Over these past days, I’ve learned that patience is key, especially when focusing on subtle details like fur texture and facial expressions. Using pencil allows me to refine shadows and highlights which bring Carina’s personality to life on paper. One challenge I've encountered is balancing accuracy with artistic interpretation—I want it to look like Carina but also capture the feeling of her. Each day, I take a fresh look at the lines and shading and find areas that need adjusting. This process reminds me that art is never really finished; it’s about progress and growth.
