75 Semi-Hard 💪🏼💦

Here I am after 10 days!! I was a bit intimidated to start this challenge even though I created my own guidelines, but I’m proud to say I’m going strong.

I want to give myself grace during this period if I do miss one task every now and then. I strive to hit all my goals and if I don’t hit a second workout because I spend time with a friend catching up in the afternoon, that’s okay!!

My main takeaways:

- Hit at least 10k steps a day (I’ve only missed that goal once and it wasn’t even my rest day lol)

- Meal prep is 🔑: I always meal prep but I have additionally been prepping breakfast for healthier options and snack choices that consist of either fruits or veggies

- Drink your water!! I have made it a huge goal to finish at least one of my water bottles (32oz) by 12-1pm while I’m at work and refill and finish the second by the time I leave (5pm). When I get home I have been filling my 40oz bottle and try to drink that fully (or have a cup of tea in lieu of some) before bed. *in the morning for my workouts I usually drink around 20-28oz additionally.

- I have “read” about 65% so far of my audiobook: Deeper Than Money

- I think the thing that’s helping me a lot with the volume of workouts is that I was working out 4-5x per week prior. I am really adding in extra walks and steps in addition to the weightlifting I am doing 4x per week. Building a steady routine of working out is also key in this journey and sticking with it

How I’m feeling: Feeling really good!!! I feel more alert and energized. On my rest days I’ve even been going for some walks and it’s making my body feel great. I have been stretching a ton to make sure my hips and legs are getting the recovery they need with all of the extra walks.

I didn’t think I would see any differences during this challenge but I am already seeing small progress and feeling really good. I’m excited as this goes on.

Here’s to 65 more days!!
