What it looks like when you let God led
This is what it looks like when you let God order your steps and be a lamp onto your feet🥰Folkestone like literally talk about a Daddy and me day🥹
Folkestone was such an amazing time! I thought London was great, this place takes the cake for sure! From walking through Kingsnorth Gardens, having a delicious sandwich from The Sandwich Shop, going down the coastline from the Zig Zag path, and ending the day with Papa’s Fish & Chips🥹 every stop felt like a little gift. I literally was crying tears of joy on the train ride back home because like God really loves us so much!🥹like the evidence is there!
It’s amazing how the best days happen when you stop trying to control every detail and simply follow where God leads.
If you’ve never visited Folkestone, add it to your list!!! Such a beautiful coastal gem!

Planning a day where you truly let God lead can transform an ordinary outing into an extraordinary experience. From my own visits, I’ve found that Folkestone offers a perfect backdrop for such spiritual and emotional renewal. The town’s charming Kingsnorth Gardens provide a peaceful setting conducive to reflection and prayer. Walking down the Zig Zag path along the coastline, you can feel the calming presence of nature aligning with a sense of divine guidance. What really stood out during my trip was how each simple activity—from savoring fresh sandwiches at The Sandwich Shop to enjoying classic fish and chips at Papa’s—felt like small blessings. These moments reaffirmed the message from Proverbs 3:5-6, which urges us to trust in the Lord wholeheartedly and lean not on our own understanding, promising that He will direct our paths. Traveling by train to Folkestone also enhances the experience. The seamless connections and well-timed schedules make it easy to focus on the journey rather than the logistics, allowing you to embrace spontaneity and trust in the unfolding plan. If you’re contemplating a visit, I recommend making room in your itinerary for pauses that invite gratitude and openness to God’s direction. Whether you’re with a loved one or on a solo retreat, Folkestone’s coastal beauty and welcoming local spots can provide a perfect environment for spiritual rest and inspiration. This approach to traveling—relinquishing control and following faith—doesn’t just apply to trips but can enrich daily life. When we stop over-planning and start trusting, life’s small blessings become more visible and impactful. I encourage anyone seeking peace and joy to consider both the physical journey to places like Folkestone and the spiritual journey of surrendering to divine guidance.
