Hey everyone! I'm so excited to share more about my personal Ninjago OCs with you all. Creating original characters for the Ninjago universe has been such a rewarding journey, and it's amazing to see them come to life. If you loved meeting them in my post, I want to give you a deeper dive into their stories and maybe even inspire you to create your own! Let's start with Jade, my Prime Empire OC. Imagine being an avid gamer, completely immersed in the digital world, only to find yourself trapped within it! That's Jade's story. With her vibrant purple hair and cool headphones, she navigates the challenges of Prime Empire, using her tech-savvy skills to aid the ninja. Before she got trapped, she was just a regular girl with light hair and glasses, which makes her in-game transformation even more striking. I always wonder how she'd interact with Scott or other characters in that world! Then there's Cindy, or Misty, my Dragons Rising OC. She's the elemental master of mist and steam, a truly unique power that allows for some incredible abilities. I envisioned her with a sleek white cap and outfit, reflecting the ethereal nature of her element. In the new Dragons Rising era, where the realms are merging, a master of mist could be incredibly vital, perhaps cloaking allies or disorienting foes with swirling vapors. It's so much fun to think about how her powers would play out alongside characters like Arin and Sora. Next up is Coral, my Seabound OC, and she's special because she's Benthomar's twin sister! I wanted to explore another side of the Merlopian royal family. With her striking blue skin and a beautiful mermaid-inspired outfit, Coral brings a fresh perspective to the underwater world of Seabound. Maybe she has a different view on the surface dwellers than her brother, or perhaps she holds a secret power related to the ocean's depths. It's fascinating to imagine her interactions with Nya and the other ninja during their aquatic adventures. And finally, Ivy, my Master of the Mountain OC. Her backstory as a former bounty hunter who found her way to Shintaro adds a gritty, intriguing layer to her character. Dressed in her long brown coat and scarf, she carries the weight of her past, but perhaps has found a new purpose among the Munce or Geckles. I imagined her initially clashing with the ninja but eventually becoming a valuable ally, using her tracking and combat skills to help them navigate the treacherous Skull Sorcerer's dungeon. Now, for those of you eager to create your own Ninjago OCs, it’s a blast! Many of you search for 'ninjago oc base' or 'ninjago oc template,' and for good reason! These can be fantastic starting points. You can find many online, or even use existing character models as inspiration. When I'm designing a new LEGO Ninjago OC, I always start with a core idea: what's their element? What's their backstory? Do they have a connection to a specific season, like Prime Empire or Seabound? Think about their gi colors, their unique weapon, and what kind of personality they'd have. Would they be a stoic ninja, a mischievous villain, or a helpful civilian? Don't be afraid to experiment! The Ninjago universe is so rich with lore that there's endless room for new stories and characters. Share your creations, make some fanart, and let's keep the Ninjago spirit alive!
