✨NAIL PROGRESSION✨
•I started doing nail about 3 years ago, but started to really learn and practice this year.
•A tip you might not know is purchasing the expensive products, the quality matters
- the first photo I didn have the correct gel and started to use Jodsone gel polish which was okay, u til I started to switch over to DND polish in March.
- you can see a huge difference when I switched polish and also prep work is the key, I spend majority of my time doing prep work for longer lasting nails.
• comment below if you want me to upload a prep tutorial!
•Also I can do a Nail It series where I can show you guys how to do designs, application, etc!

Embarking on a nail journey has taught me that patience and investing in quality products truly pay off. When I switched from a basic gel polish like Jodsone to DND polish in March, the difference was instantly noticeable—not just in color vibrancy but in durability and finish. The key I’ve learned is that nail prep is just as important as the polish itself. Taking time to properly clean, file, and buff the nail surface creates a better canvas that holds polish longer and prevents chipping. Many beginners overlook the prep stage, but I've found it essential for achieving salon-quality results at home. This includes pushing back cuticles carefully, dehydrating the nail plate, and applying a base coat suited to your polish type. Investing in good brushes and quality UV lamps also makes a huge difference in curing gel nails evenly. If you’re starting out or want to improve your nail game, don’t rush the process or skimp on products. High-quality gels might seem more expensive upfront, but you’ll save time and money by not having to fix chips or reapply frequently. I’m planning to share prep tutorials and a series on nail designs and applications soon—comment if you'd like me to cover any specific techniques. Nail art is a fun way to express yourself, and with a bit of practice, patience, and the right tools, anyone can elevate their nail skills. Happy polishing!
