zone progression training

strength before cardio 💪

2025/1/25 Edited to

... Read moreZone progression training is a systematic approach that guides your workouts to improve fitness levels effectively. It involves alternating between different intensity zones, each designed to trigger specific physiological responses. To optimize your strength before cardio, consider incorporating resistance training as part of your routine. Utilizing accessories like hand wraps can prevent injuries and enhance your lifting capability. Focus on ensuring proper form and technique to maximize results while minimizing risks. Strength training not only boosts your endurance but also prepares your body for intensive cardio sessions. Make sure to track your progression by keeping a log of your workouts, allowing you to adjust your training intensity as needed over time. This adaptive approach can yield substantial improvements in both strength and overall athletic performance. Remember that consistency is key to seeing positive results. Regularly revisiting and adjusting your training zones and strategies ensures that your workouts remain challenging and effective. By mastering the principles of zone progression training, you can transform your fitness journey and achieve your desired outcomes.

TRAINING FASTED IS SABOTAGING RESULTS
If you’re still lifting fasted because you think it burns more fat… you’re sabotaging your results. 🚫 Lifting without fuel = weaker lifts, less strength progression, and slower muscle growth. Translation: you’re working just as hard but getting fewer results. Fuel your body before you train.

Why I love zone 2 training for fatloss💦
1. LISS > HIIT or running I used to think high-intensity workouts were the only way to burn fat, but they always left me feeling exhausted and inconsistent. Zone 2, or low-intensity steady-state cardio, is so much easier to recover from, which means I can do it more often without burning out an

how to know if you’re overtraining
overtraining is a mistake that’s actually pretty common! Especially if you’re new to the gym and you think that the way to gains is to work as hard as possible! It’s true that you need to challenge yourself in the gym but your muscles grow during rest! You should be sure to listen to your body
