Is this summer read overhyped?
I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about Emily Henry’s books so I decided to see for myself what the hype was about. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It wasn’t the best romance novel I’ve ever read and it did fall into some common tropes but what intrigued me was the backstories of each character.
Ngl, the main character, January did annoy me at times but I began to understand her actions as the story unfolded.
Be warned, this might fool you into thinking you can make things work with that emotionally unavailable man you have been wanting to crack 😠but seriously even though it did dive into heavier topics, this is a nice casual read for the summer. The name does it justice 😎🌞.
