Hey everyone! You know how much I love a good boba, and after my last painting session, I was so inspired to try drawing my own! It was so much fun, and I wanted to share my super easy guide on how to draw cute boba tea so you can join in the artistic fun too. Whether you're a beginner or just looking for a relaxing creative outlet, this is for you! First things first, gather your supplies. You don't need anything fancy – just a pencil, an eraser, some paper, and maybe some colored pencils or markers to bring your boba to life. Step 1: Sketching Your Boba Cup Start by lightly drawing the basic shape of your boba cup. Most boba cups have a slightly tapered cylindrical shape, wider at the top. Think of a tall, clear glass. You can make it a simple straight-sided cup or add a subtle curve for a more dynamic look. Don't press too hard; these are just guidelines! Step 2: The Delicious Drink Base Next, draw the liquid inside your cup. This is where you decide what kind of boba you're "drawing"! Is it a creamy Dirty Brown Sugar Boba Milk, a vibrant Coco Matcha, or maybe a refreshing Cloudy White Coffee? Draw a wavy line across the cup to indicate the liquid level. Remember, boba usually fills most of the cup! Step 3: Adding the Boba Pearls! Now for the star of the show: the boba pearls! These usually sit at the bottom of the cup. Draw small, dark circles clustered together. They don't have to be perfectly uniform – some variation makes them look more natural and delicious. Make sure some are visible through the "liquid." Step 4: Pile on the Toppings! This is my favorite part because you can get really creative! Think about all those yummy additions from the menu: Crystal Boba: Draw these as slightly translucent, irregularly shaped cubes or small, clear pearls. Lychee Jelly / Rainbow Jelly: For jellies, draw small, colorful, rectangular or square shapes peeking out from the liquid. Coffee Jelly: Similar to other jellies, but with a rich brown color. Egg Pudding / Creme Brullee: These often sit in a layer or distinct blob. You can draw a smooth, creamy layer on top of the liquid or alongside it. Aloe Vera: Draw small, irregular, clear-ish chunks floating in the drink. Cheese Foam / Coconut Cream: If you want to add a foamy topping, draw a fluffy, cloud-like layer on top of the drink. Mochi: For mochi, draw a few soft, round shapes on top or partially submerged. Mix and match your favorite toppings to create a unique boba design! I love combining Crystal Boba with a bit of Creme Brullee on top of a Coco Matcha. Yum! Step 5: The Straw and Finishing Touches Every boba needs a wide straw! Draw a thick straw extending from the top of the cup, plunging down into the liquid and boba pearls. For extra cuteness, you can add small highlights to the cup and straw to give them a glossy, reflective look.
