What I Offered My Toddler Today ✨
Every day is different for us, but here’s the food I offered my 14 month old today!💕
>> Breakfast:
I made yogurt bark a few nights ago to have on hand for breakfast and snacking! We had waffles leftover from dinner last night (chicken & waffles), so I popped one of those in the toaster! My girl LOVES eggs so I typically always offer her one with breakfast, today I decided to make an omelette and add in ham and cheese!
>> Morning Snack:
I’ve been trying to make healthier choices for our family, so we’ve been switching out and trying new snacks! She loved this Cerebelly Sweet Potato Blueberry Banana bar! We have another flavor to try out as well!🤗
>> Lunch:
Tuesday night we had hamburgers for dinner, so since we already had the ingredients I decided on those for lunch today! Chopped up some cucumber and mango as sides for her!
>> Afternoon Snack:
My toddler is NOT a big fan of avocado, but I keep trying to prepare it in different ways to see if we can find something she’ll like. Today was not the day but I think we may do avocado toast for breakfast tomorrow!🩷 She also ended up sharing some veggie straws with dad, but I forgot to take a picture!
>> Dinner:
I made pepperoni pizza pull apart bread for dinner, so I decided to make my toddler a small personal pizza with the same ingredients! I also decided to make a few of the Good & Gather spinach and ricotta ravioli for her as well, since I knew she would for sure eat those! Then I chopped carrots and added those to the plate for a side!
>> Drinks:
I always offer whole milk when she wakes up & when she goes to bed! Other than that, during the day she is always carrying a water bottle around! If you have any toddler-proof cup recommendations, let me know! I love the Dr. Browns straw cup she has but most other cups spill way too easily!
