Day 7 of 75 HARD
Today was a fun day working out. I really enjoyed just watching this video of me pushing myself to keep going! #75dayhard #75hardroutine #75hard
Wow, can you believe it? I just wrapped up DAY 7 OF 75 HARD! It feels like a small victory in itself, reaching this first week milestone. When I say today was a 'fun day working out,' I really mean it in that challenging, deeply satisfying way. There were moments during my second workout today – an outdoor power walk, because you know the rules! – where my legs felt heavy, and my mind started whispering excuses. But seeing that video of myself pushing through earlier? It was a huge motivator. It's funny how on Day 7, you start getting into a rhythm, but the mental battle is still very real. This past week has been a whirlwind of discipline. My two daily workouts are non-negotiable, and I'm really feeling the impact of the gallon of water each day. Hydration is key, but the frequent bathroom breaks are definitely a new routine! The healthy eating aspect has been a game-changer for my energy levels. I've completely cut out alcohol and cheat meals, and while I occasionally crave something sweet, I'm noticing how much better my body feels without those processed foods. One of the biggest takeaways from these first seven days, and something I'd definitely share in a 75 Hard testimonial, is the mental fortitude it builds. Every single day, you're faced with choices. Do I really want to do this second workout when I'm tired? Do I really need to finish this water? Can I resist that snack? Each 'yes' to the challenge and 'no' to temptation builds a stronger sense of self-discipline. It's not just about the physical transformation; it's about proving to yourself that you can commit and follow through. For anyone just starting their 75 Hard journey or considering it, my advice from Day 7 is this: embrace the discomfort. It's going to be tough, especially at the beginning as your body adjusts. Find your motivation – whether it's a video of yourself, a supportive friend, or just that internal desire for change. Plan your days meticulously, especially your meals and workouts, to minimize decision fatigue. And remember, each completed day, especially DAY 7 OF 75 HARD, is a testament to your commitment. I'm excited (and a little nervous!) for what the next 68 days will bring, but I'm ready to keep pushing!
