Animal Crossing Amiibo Figures

Hey fellow Animal Crossing fans! ✨ I've been absolutely obsessed with collecting Animal Crossing amiibo figures lately, and I wanted to share my journey and why these little guys are so much more than just display pieces for me. If you're new to the world of amiibo or just looking to expand your collection, you're in the right place! For those who might not know, amiibo are these adorable, interactive figures and cards that Nintendo makes. When you tap them to your Nintendo Switch, they unlock all sorts of fun in compatible games, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH) is one of the best! It's not just about having cute figures on your shelf; it's about bringing your favorite characters right into your game. My personal favorite use for my amiibo figures in ACNH is definitely inviting villagers to my campsite. Imagine wanting a specific villager to move to your island – with their amiibo, you can! You just head to the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services, use the 'Invite a Camper' option, and tap your amiibo. After inviting them three separate times and crafting everything they ask for, they'll finally agree to move in. It’s such a game-changer when you’re hunting for your dreamies! Beyond inviting villagers, amiibo open up other cool features too. You can invite characters to Harv's Island for Photopia, where you can stage incredible photoshoots with them. It’s a fantastic way to get creative and spend time with characters you might not have on your island. Plus, if you have the Happy Home Paradise DLC, amiibo figures allow you to design vacation homes for specific characters, including special ones like Isabelle or Celeste! Speaking of Celeste, she's one of my absolute favorites, and having her amiibo lets me interact with her outside of her occasional night visits. She’s just so charming! Collecting amiibo can be really exciting. I started by picking up the characters I loved most from the games. Sometimes you find them new, other times you might stumble upon a gem at a second-hand store or online. It's a thrill when you find a rare one! I've even seen some custom amiibo figures, or variations like 'amiibo3' that collectors are passionate about. It really adds to the uniqueness of each collection. While I haven't found a 'Camiloo' figure myself, I love seeing how many unique and diverse characters are available, capturing the spirit of different villagers and special characters. For anyone just starting out, my tip would be to focus on the characters that genuinely bring you joy. Don't feel pressured to collect them all at once! It's a marathon, not a sprint. And remember, besides figures, there are also amiibo cards, which are super handy for inviting villagers too. They're often a bit easier to find and store if space is an issue.
