Mental Wellness is Essential

Prioritizing my own wellness and mental health has been a challenge at times. Balancing being a new wife with a growing career and family is nothing to play with. In fact, it can be quite exhausting at times.

One of the techniques that I’ve learned is to manage the areas that I can control, and cut off anything that adds extra weight or stress. Yes, this includes people too. In all transparency, I’ve had to cut off friends and family in order to better my life…one of the BEST decisions ever!!!

I’ve learned to scale back on the people pleasing and ensure that my mind, body and soul are aligned with God and my spiritual journey.
