Did anyone watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade this year? Despite the rain I thought it was fun to watch and pretty cool 😎

I’ve been watching the parade every year as far back as I can remember. 😅

What did y’all think? 🤔 did anyone else tune in?

... Read moreThe Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is always a highlight for me, a tradition I've cherished as far back as I can remember. This year, despite the weather, it absolutely delivered that magical feeling. But beyond just the grand spectacle, I found myself thinking about all the little details that give it a unique charm, almost like a 'mini Disney' experience right from home! When I say 'mini Disney,' I mean those moments of pure wonder and joy that transport you, even if just for a few minutes. The parade, with its iconic balloons, incredible floats featuring vibrant autumn leaves and lively performers, truly creates an atmosphere that rivals the magic of a theme park. Seeing a huge turkey-like figure float by, or a beloved character, just sparks that inner child in me. It’s a touch of that high-quality entertainment we associate with Disney, but accessible to everyone from their living room. Creating your own 'mini Disney' parade viewing party adds to the fun! I love setting up my space to feel super festive. For instance, I always make sure to have some cozy decorations around. This year, my cute bear decoration sitting near the TV felt like a little mascot for the day. You could even go a step further with DIY decorations – maybe some mini character cutouts or colorful streamers that mimic the parade's cheer. It's all about bringing that extra spark of joy and visual delight into your home, making the viewing experience more immersive. Snacks are also key to my 'mini Disney' parade experience! Think brightly colored treats, maybe some themed cookies, or even just a special hot chocolate bar. It’s these small, thoughtful additions that elevate the day and make it feel like a truly special event, not just another TV show. And of course, the conversation! Just like the overlay on my TV asked, 'How did we feel about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade??', I love chatting with family and friends about our favorite floats, performances, and those moments that made us gasp or smile. It’s part of the shared, collective magic. For many of us, a trip to a Disney park might not be an annual thing, but the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade offers a fantastic, accessible way to get a dose of that unique enchantment. It’s a reminder that magic can be found in traditions, in shared experiences, and in the joy of simply watching something beautiful unfold. What are your favorite ways to bring a little 'mini Disney' magic into your holiday traditions?

I didn’t get a chance to watch it this year. Was there any good floats? What was your favorite part of the parade? Did they have a huge performance? I’m guessing this is the Macy’s parade that you’re talking about❤️ I’m surprised it still goes on.
