Making the decision to quit a stable 9-5 job can be incredibly daunting, but for me, it was also liberating. Networking online and locally (I'm based in Tallahassee) has played a big role in finding clients and collaborations, which I highly recommend for fellow freelancers. One unexpected benefit has been the reduction of stress and increased peace. Without the pressures of a traditional job, I feel more balanced and connected to my art. I’m learning to take life one birthright at a time—claiming my unique journey without fighting against myself.
