洗面台用スポンジを選ぶとき、私は「清潔に置けるか」がいちばん大事でした。洗面台まわりって水が飛びやすく、直置きだとスポンジの底が乾かなくてヌメリやすいんですよね。いろいろ試した結果、吸盤で浮かせられるタイプ（私はニトリのデコホームで買ったPOCO）がいちばんラクでした。 まず良かったのは“置き場 所問題”が解決すること。洗面台の側面や鏡の近くなど、使う場所のすぐそばに貼れるので、サッと取ってサッと戻せます。スポンジに穴が開いていて、とんがった突起に差し込むだけで収納できるので、戻すのが面倒にならず習慣化しやすいです。 次に「水切れ」。洗面台用スポンジは濡れたままになりがちですが、浮かせると空気に触れる面が増えて乾きが早いです。結果的にニオイやヌメリが出にくく、見た目もスッキリ。白いスポンジは汚れが目立つぶん、交換タイミングが分かりやすいのも私には合っていました。 使い方のコツは、掃除の最後にスポンジをしっかりすすいで軽く絞り、収納位置を毎回同じにすること。洗面台のボウルだけでなく、蛇口の根元・排水口まわり・カウンターの水はね跡にも使うと、汚れが固まる前に落とせて時短になります。 交換目安は「黒ずみが気になる」「弾力が落ちて泡立ちが悪い」「ニオイが取れない」と感じたとき。POCOはリフィルがあるので、汚れたらサッと交換できて心理的にも衛生的にも安心でした。洗面台用スポンジで迷っているなら、“浮かせる収納×交換しやすさ”を基準に選ぶと失敗しにくいと思います。
