When I started this journey, I wasn't sure I could stick with it daily, but here we are. This isn't just about a number; it's about consistency and dedication to learning something new. It's fantastic for building vocabulary and understanding grammar fundamentals. I can definitely hold a simple, albeit slow, conversation. While Duolingo is an incredible foundation, hitting this 300-day streak has also shown me its limitations. To truly advance, I've started incorporating other resources. I listen to Italian music, watch short videos with subtitles, and even try to chat with native speakers online (when I'm brave enough!). Duolingo gave me the confidence and the initial tools to step out and explore these other avenues. It's like it built the road, and now I'm driving on it, discovering new paths.
