As you gain confidence, learn to pedal smoothly and steer gently to maintain balance. It’s also important to familiarize yourself with traffic laws and safety measures. Always wear a helmet for protection and consider using reflective gear to improve visibility. Observing your surroundings and signaling your intentions to others will make your rides safer. Finally, don’t forget to practice stopping! Gradually apply the brakes to come to a controlled halt. With time and practice, you’ll enjoy cycling, navigating through different terrains, and perhaps discovering new scenic routes!
