Reading Wrap Up 2024

📚2024 reading wrap up! Not all of these are my top ones, but I can’t only put Sarah J Maas books in here 😅

📖 Under the Whispering Door is an amazingggg book! Gave me a new appreciation for the people in my life.

📖 The House in the Cerulean Sea is another great TJ Klune book. Cute, easy read.

📖 Supermarket by Bobby Hall (aka Logic) is a good read! I could see this being adapted into a show or movie.

📖 A Little Life…I went through a rollercoaster of emotions reading this book. It started out as my favorite book ever and it quickly turned into I would dread reading it. Was hard to finish.

📖 A Court of Thorns series. I read all 5 books and I could talk for days about my love for this series. Truly reignited my love for reading.

📖 Fourth Wing…the writing just didn’t compare to ACOTAR. I could see my high school self enjoying this.

📖 Throne of Glass series. Currently on the 4th book! I’m converted to a die hard Sarah J Maas fan, love this series.

Safe to say I’m a fantasy and fiction lover. I want to explore more nonfiction in 2025!

... Read moreThe year 2024 was filled with unforgettable reads, particularly in the fantasy genre. One standout, 'Under the Whispering Door', by TJ Klune, resonates deeply with readers for its exploration of life and relationships. Klune's ability to weave emotional narratives shines, much like in 'The House in the Cerulean Sea', a delightful, whimsical book that captivates with its heartwarming story and memorable characters. Another impressive mention is 'Supermarket' by Bobby Hall (Logic), which blends humor and reality, showcasing Hall's unique voice and creative perspective. The novel's potential for adaptation into film has garnered much interest among fans. Meanwhile, for avid fans of Sarah J. Maas, her series like 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' and 'Throne of Glass' remain touchstones of modern fantasy literature. Each entry in these series offers gripping plots and rich character development, ensuring readers stay engaged. The depth of emotions experienced while reading 'A Little Life' serves as a testament to the power of storytelling, with its rollercoaster of human experiences. Lastly, as the world of literature continues to expand, there's a concerted desire to explore more nonfiction in the coming year, promising a broader spectrum of genres to enjoy.
