Tip of the day

Tip of the day! 🤩

NOW is the perfect time to ditch and switch your deodorant! I’ve had some friends taking the plunge recently and I wanted to share a few tips!

Let’s talk a little bit about what to expect when swapping from a gland clogging, ‘fragrance’ filled, aluminum containing deodorant to a clean one!

Here are a few tips to help transition from the detox period faster, and help prevent redness (from the massive toxin flush ... like your lymphatic system is singing ‘hallelujah.’)

✅ Use your charcoal mask under your pits daily for the first week, then every few days for the following week. This will help pull the toxins from your tissues faster.

✅ Exfoliate! This will help free your pores to prevent clogging and irritation during the toxin dump.

❌ Do NOT apply deodorant to freshly shaved pits. This is the time where they are absorbing the quickest. Instead, opt for Dream Cream for its healing effects. Then apply your deodorant after getting dressed for the day or once the dream cream absorbs.

Who has felt the detox period and lived to tell about it? If so, comment ‘I survived!’ down below 😅

Side note, once I swapped to nontoxic deo, I will NEVER EVER go back.🙅🏻‍♀️ Are you ready?

... Read moreSwitching to a nontoxic deodorant can dramatically improve your underarm health and overall well-being, but the transition does require some care and patience. From my personal experience and what I've learned along the way, the so-called "detox period" may involve some temporary discomfort, including redness or irritation, but it's a sign that your body is eliminating toxins and adjusting to a cleaner product. One of the most effective methods to ease this transition is consistent exfoliation. By gently exfoliating your underarm skin two to three times a week, you remove dead skin cells and open up pores, which helps prevent clogging during the detox process. Also, using a charcoal mask specifically designed for underarms is a game changer; charcoal’s natural detoxifying properties pull impurities out of the skin and reduce inflammation. An important tip is to avoid applying deodorant immediately after shaving your pits. Shaved skin is more permeable, which may increase the chance of irritation due to active ingredients penetrating too deeply. Instead, applying a soothing product like a "Dream Cream" with ingredients such as aloe vera, shea butter, and chamomile can support healing and moisture balance. Once absorbed, you can apply your deodorant safely without discomfort. Moreover, many natural deodorants include components like bentonite clay, prebiotics, probiotics, and essential oils such as tea tree and peppermint. These ingredients not only neutralize odor but also nurture the skin and help maintain a healthy microbial balance. Switching to formulas free of aluminum, fragrances, parabens, and harmful chemicals supports your lymphatic system, which plays a crucial role in flushing toxins. From my own journey, I found that patience combined with a conscious skincare routine leads to lasting benefits. After the initial detox, underarm skin feels lighter, less irritated, and far less reliant on harsh chemicals. Plus, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing you're using products 100% free of toxins, dyes, silicones, and sulfates. If you're ready to make the switch, prepare yourself for this detox phase by following these steps. It’s worth it — once you experience the freedom from gland-clogging deodorants, going back isn’t an option! Remember, every body is different, so listen to your skin and adjust your routine accordingly. Keep hydrated, maintain good hygiene, and embrace the natural detox journey with confidence.
