I used to think gratitude was just saying 'thank you' for big gifts, but I’ve learned it's about so much more. It’s about cultivating a heart of gratitude for even the smallest, most ordinary things. For me, it started with a simple gratitude journal. Every morning, I began jotting down three things I was thankful for. It could be as mundane as a warm blanket on a cold morning, the smell of fresh coffee, or even just the quiet moment before the day truly began. This simple act immediately reframed my perspective, shifting my focus from what was lacking to what was abundant. One of the biggest eye-openers for me was realizing how gratitude impacts my resilience. Life throws curveballs, right? There have been moments when I felt completely overwhelmed, but instead of spiraling, I consciously tried to find something to be grateful for, even in the midst of difficulty. It wasn't about ignoring the pain, but about acknowledging that even during tough times, there are often hidden blessings or lessons.
