Here’s the mindset that will change how you work this week: do everything as unto the Lord.
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men” (Colossians 3:23). Read that closely. Whatsoever you do. Not just the spiritual things. Not just the church things. Everything. The report on your desk. The meeting you’d rather skip. The email, the sales call, the diaper change, the lesson plan, the workout, the conversation. All of it becomes an offering when it’s done as unto Him.
This is what separates Kingdom leaders from everyone else: we don’t pursue excellence to impress people, to get noticed, or to climb a ladder. We pursue excellence because our work is worship. When your ultimate audience is God, you stop cutting corners when no one’s watching — because Someone always is. And He’s worthy of your very best, whether anyone claps or not.
So bring excellence to every area and every action this week. Not perfectionism — excellence. Doing what you do with your whole heart, as an act of worship, in word and in deed. When you work like that, your ordinary Monday tasks become holy ground, and your whole life becomes a testimony that God is worth your best.
Start this week with holy fire. Whatever’s in front of you today — do it heartily, as unto the Lord. 🔴
