Why u should use a 3pf

We’ve read and heard about many horror stories about buying furniture from Taobao. Using a 3pf gave us ease of mind because we know someone will be responsible and ensure our goods arrive at our house in good condition, else money refunded.

Brief process of how 3pf works:

1. Get in touch with a 3pf, inform them you’re gonna be using them and ask them for their warehouse location

2. Order your item from seller and change the address to 3pf warehouse

3. Ask 3pf to check all your items. If there are defects, u can get them to send it back to seller to redo.

4. Once all your items arrive at warehouse and ready to ship, u can let them know when you want to ship out your items and they will let you know approximately how long it’ll take (usually ~15 days by sea). They will also help settle admin stuff like tax

- can get 3pf to put your items into wooden crates so it’s more secured (this is an additional cost but worth it)

5. When items reach their warehouse in SG, they will deliver to your house. They will place it outside so gotta bring it in yourself.

Comment “3pf” if u want their contact and I’ll dm u:)

... Read moreFrom my personal experience, opting for a reliable 3PF when ordering furniture from Taobao was a game changer. One of the biggest challenges with international online furniture shopping is the risk of damage during shipping and the complexity of coordinating multiple shipments. Using a 3PF helped solve these issues effectively. Before your items leave the seller, the 3PF warehouse staff will inspect each piece carefully, checking for any defects or damages and even sending pictures for your approval. This level of inspection helped me identify a minor crack early on, which the 3PF promptly addressed by facilitating a refund and reshipment through the seller—something I couldn’t have managed directly from my end. Another valuable service is consolidation. Instead of shipping multiple packages individually, the 3PF combines everything into one shipment, which saves on shipping costs and reduces the risk of loss. They also provide insurance, which I highly recommend, as it covers the full replacement cost in case of damage during transit. The insurance fee is about 5% of the total item cost and is well worth the peace of mind. Additionally, the option to crate your furniture in wooden boxes through the 3PF added an extra layer of security during seabound transit. Although it comes with an extra charge, I found it worthwhile given the fragile nature of furniture pieces. When the shipment arrived at the local warehouse, the 3PF handled customs clearance and taxes, removing a lot of administrative stress. They then delivered everything to my doorstep securely, although I had to bring the items inside myself. Overall, using a 3PF streamlined the entire buying and shipping process for Taobao furniture. It provided accountability and assistance I otherwise wouldn’t have had, transforming a potentially stressful experience into a smooth one. For anyone considering purchasing furniture from overseas, using a trusted 3PF is highly recommended!

Comparing Taobao 3pf

$210K in CPF SA at 35. What did I do wrong?
I wanted to achieve the Full Retirement Sum (FRS) early on so I could enjoy the compounded interest over a longer runway in a risk-free asset class. With the safety net secured, I can move on to riskier assets! And I did. However, I made some mistakes at a cost. What I SHOULD have done inst

CPF is more than a compulsory savings system.
It runs on rules that can quietly support you, or quietly work against you, depending on how well you understand them. Small decisions around interest rates, transfers, and top-ups can create very different outcomes over time. Many people leave CPF untouched and only notice the impact years lat

If you’re using CPF to pay for your home - don’t empty your Ordinary Account
Most people wipe out their CPF OA when buying a home. Here's why you should think twice 👇 CPF gives you an extra 1% interest on the first $60K of your balance. Up to $20K of that comes from your OA. That's 3.5% on $20,000 — just sitting there working for you. Small move. Big dif

POV: Your CPF OA can actually do more than 2.5% 🤯
Recently had more conversations around CPF OA and realised many working adults in Singapore still think it’s just “money sitting inside CPF” earning 2.5%. Depending on your financial goals and risk appetite, there are actually different ways people use their OA funds beyond just leaving it there

When you sell your home, CPF doesn't just want back what you used.
Most sellers are shocked when they find out how much goes back to CPF after the sale. It's called accrued interest — and it's been quietly building since the day you used your CPF to buy. The good news? You can reduce it. Top up your OA voluntarily while you're still in the home

Why POEMS over Endowus
CPF OA is not truly growing much at 2.5% interest. Many Singaporeans use CPFIA to invest excess OA funds into the Amundi Prime USA Fund because it offers exposure to major US companies like Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon, and Meta, which historically provide stronger long term growth potential th
