My current read: Ledge

A dystopian read where a civilization is trapped in an ice mountain barely getting by with rations. They apparently have to sacrifice themselves to “The Glacians”. They’re described as vicious winged creatures who reside beyond the ledge. The main character is picked for the sacrifice and is being offered help by a half-Glacian who she isn’t sure she trusts.
It’s supposed to be a slow-burn romance and even had some trigger warnings at the beginning so I’m excited to see if it’s suspenseful in anyway. I miss that feeling of being completely engulfed by a book.

Ledge presents a unique setting where a society is trapped in an ice-covered world, reflecting on survival and hope.
