My get unready with me routine is a calming ritual that helps me disconnect from daily stress and prepare my mind and body for rest. It usually starts with removing makeup if I wore any during the day, followed by gentle cleansing to refresh my skin. I then apply a lightweight moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated overnight. I often find incorporating relaxing activities like reading a book, listening to soft music, or doing light stretches can greatly enhance the bedtime experience. Lighting a scented candle or using essential oils with calming aromas such as lavender also helps set a peaceful atmosphere. I make it a point to avoid screens for at least 30 minutes before sleep, as the blue light can interfere with melatonin production and disrupt sleep quality. Following a consistent bedtime routine signals to the body that it is time to rest, promoting deeper and more restorative sleep. This routine also helps reduce feelings of being tired the next day, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and ready to tackle new challenges. Everyone’s preferences for a night routine can differ, so it’s great to experiment and find what works best for you to ensure you wake up feeling fully rested.
