The meta shifts constantly, but after a ton of playtime and testing, I’ve put together my list of the TOP 5 META SMGS that are absolutely tearing it up right now. Forget playing catch-up; with these builds, you'll be leading the charge! 1. HRM-9: The Mobility King This SMG is a laser beam with incredible mobility, perfect for those aggressive pushes and swift rotations. It's a go-to for close-quarters combat. For attachments, I'm running the FSS Covert IV for suppressed shots and stealth, the Thorn-90 Barrel for increased range, and the DR-6 Handstop for improved aiming stability. Pair it with the FANG HOVERPOINT ELO optic for clean sight lines, and you'll be unstoppable. Always remember to manage your reloads efficiently in a firefight! 2. Striker 9: Consistent & Reliable Next, we have the underrated Striker 9. It might not get as much hype, but its consistent damage and easy recoil make it a beast for both casual and competitive play. My go-to setup includes the Bruen Pendulum muzzle to keep that recoil in check, the MFS RENOWN PLUS MAG for extended fire, and the FTAC C11 Riser for extra mobility. Learning when TO USE ARMOR PLATES is crucial, especially when pushing hard with this weapon. 3. WSP-9: Balanced Powerhouse The WSP-9 is another strong contender, offering a great balance of damage and range for an SMG. It’s versatile enough for various engagements. I like to equip mine with the WSP Akimbo for maximum close-range devastation (though a single, well-built WSP-9 is often more consistent for general use!).
