The people who worked there were very informative and my son learned a lot! The entrance fee is for the museum but if you come to the park you can walk around the different excavation pits, check out the tar lake and go to the LACMA museum on the other side. #labreatarpit #museum #losangeles

All you need to bring is your DL/ID for your proof of residency. I felt like 2 hours was plenty of time to walk through but like i said in the video, it’s free M-F from 3-5PM so can always come back! I like to check out the Jazz nights sometimes in the summer by the Urban Lights. #LACMA #urbanl
