tried the VIRAL Cloudfields cafe☁️🌾
i finally tried the viral cafe that i keep on seeing on tiktok - Cloudfields! ☁️ so here’s my honest review and whether it is a go or a pass 🫢
We ordered 5 dishes:
🍴cacio & pepe fries ($18)
🍴short rib rendang mafaldine ($29)
🍴nori clams pasta ($26)
🍴free range roasted chicken ($32)
🍴150-day grain-fed tenderloin ($48)(forgot to take a pic of it :<)
and we were shooked!!
the fries were soooo thick and it is not jelat at all with all the cheese sauce and it pairs so well with the sweet honey! no wonder it is the most popular item on the menu! The pastas were cooked to al dente and the nori clams pasta is a MUST ORDER!!! it is sooo good and the clams are big too! tbh i prefer this over the short rib rendang mafaldine (a little dry to my liking🫢 but they were super generous with the short rib rendang!!!) The roasted chicken is not dry at all, very well seasoned and the onion rings were crissspyy! Lastly, the tenderloin steak was cooked to perfection (we ordered medium rare) and came with 3 different types of dips! super juicy~
OH AND the portion sizes for the mains are really huge… this was shared among 4 people and we were stuffed.. we were trying sooo hard to finish them all 😮💨
overall, i would say the ambience was good and the staffs were really friendly and i would definitely come back for the nori clams pasta 👍🏻 go try!!

One thing I appreciated was the balance in flavors—the cheese sauce on the cacio & pepe fries was creamy but not overwhelming, especially paired with a hint of sweetness from the honey. The nori clams pasta remains my personal favorite; the freshness of the clams paired with the subtle Asian-inspired seasoning elevates it beyond traditional pasta offerings. For meat lovers, the 150-day grain-fed tenderloin was juicy and tender, complemented by three different dips that provided variety with each bite. If you're planning to visit, keep in mind the large portions—sharing with friends or family is the way to go! Plus, the attentive and friendly staff made the experience more enjoyable, answering questions about the dishes and offering recommendations. For anyone curious about Cloudfields beyond TikTok hype, this cafe delivers on multiple fronts: taste, presentation, and ambiance. Definitely a spot I'll return to for that stellar nori clams pasta and more memorable dishes.
