Radiation therapy day 5
It has been 5 days since I started the radiation treatment. There are no skin changes at the irradiated site.
After last week's treatment, there was a feeling that the area around the armpit on the left side of the irradiation on Saturday the next day was edema. I had a total resection and lymph node dissection on the left, but after removing the drain, the feeling when water is accumulated... Is it water accumulated?... Hmm...?
Lymphedema...? After lymphedema drainage, the swelling calmed down.
I will report it to the nurse during today's treatment and have it examined at tomorrow's examination.
It is said that lymph node dissection and radiation therapy are prone to lymphedema, but is it something that can be seen at such an early stage...?
Even the slightest symptoms worry me a lot.
放射線療法を受けていると、治療部位の皮膚に変化がない場合でも、リンパ浮腫の症状が早期に現れることがあります。特にリンパ節郭清後はリンパ液の流れが滞りやすく、浮腫が発生しやすいです。私も治療開始から5日目に脇の下の腫れを感じ、不安になりましたが、リンパドレナージを試みることで症状が和らぎました。これは、リンパの流れを促進し、むくみを軽減する補助的な手段として有効です。放射線療法中は、こうした変化に敏感になり、自分の体の状態をよく観察することが大切です。また、ちょっとした浮腫でも医療スタッフに早めに報告し、適切な指導や診察を受けることが症状悪化を防ぐポイントです。治療を続ける中で、散歩などの軽い運動も気分転換や体調維持に役立ち、小さな春の自然を見つけるなど、心のケアも忘れずに行うことが、より良い療養生活につながると感じています。
