子ども名義の銀行口座を利用する際は、贈与税や相続税の課税リスクを避けるために日々の管理が重要です。私も以前、子どもの教育資金として口座を開設し管理していましたが、きちんと贈与契約書を作成し、定期的に資金移動の記録を銀行振込で残すことで、税務上のトラブルを回避できました。 特に贈与税は、年間110万円を超える資金の贈与があった場合に申告義務が生じるため、計画的な贈与がカギとなります。私の場合、毎年110万 円以内でこまめに贈与し、非課税制度もしっかり活用しています。 また、子どもが成人した後は本人名義の口座管理が原則となるため、成人後は速やかに通帳とキャッシュカードを手渡し、本人に管理を任せることが重要です。私の知人にはこれを怠ったために、税務署から指摘を受けた例もあります。 さらに、休眠預金とならないよう定期的に入出金を行い、長期間放置しない工夫も必要です。将来のトラブルを避けるため、こまめな管理と税に関する知識を持って、安心できる資産形成を目指しましょう。
