Project Pan 2025 pt 1
Hey everyone! Seeing so many of you interested in #ProjectPan2025 gets me so excited for this year's journey. You know, it's more than just using up products; it’s truly a mindful practice that helps combat #overconsumptionrecovery. For me, it's about rediscovering forgotten gems in my collection, saving money, and honestly, just feeling more organized and less overwhelmed by my beauty stash. If you're wondering how to kick off your own Project Pan, especially for 2025, let me share some of my personal strategies and tips! First off, choosing your products can feel daunting when you look at a shelf full of goodies. My trick is to categorize and conquer. I usually start with items I know I’ll use consistently. Body lotions and body wash are always great contenders because I use them daily. I also look at dry shampoo or any hair products like styling sprays that I reach for regularly. These are often "easy wins" that give you that satisfying feeling of progress early on! Then, I dive into the slightly more challenging, but equally rewarding, categories. My skincare arsenal is usually where I have the most products, so I pick one or two facial cleansers (maybe a foaming one and a gentle one), a facial serum in a dropper bottle, and a facial moisturizer. The goal isn't to clear out everything, but to focus on making significant dents. I also check for items nearing their expiration date, like some micellar waters or specific creams, to ensure they don't go to waste. Don't forget hair care beyond just styling! I'll often include a specific shampoo and conditioner set, or perhaps an oil or treatment that needs finishing. And for those pamper moments, a good body scrub is perfect for panning. I make sure to pick a diverse range so I don't get bored. The key is to be realistic about what you can use up in a year, or even a few months for your first "pan project." To really succeed, I find tracking my progress is super motivating. I love taking "before" pictures (just like the ones you might see in my post!) and then snapping updates every month. It’s amazing to see how much product you actually use. Don't be afraid to declutter something if it’s truly not working for you, even if it’s in your Project Pan. The goal is enjoyment and mindful consumption, not suffering through products you hate! Finally, celebrate every empty! Whether it's a small tub of makeup remover or a big bottle of shampoo, each empty is a victory. What are your Project Pan 2025 goals? Are you focusing on facial cleansers, body creams, or maybe even some cleansing balms? Share your picks in the comments – let's inspire each other on this exciting journey!

i love using stuff up, nothing else hits quite like it. i keep a list of every product i use up in my phone so i can look at it at the end of the year and see what all i used. in 2024 i used up 142 things!
