Pink dragon millipede
The Shocking Pink Dragon Millipede is one of the most prominent invertebrates in Thailand, with an eye-catching fresh pink body and thorn buttons along its body that resemble the scales of a dragon, earning it the title "little dragon of the forest."
The animal was first officially discovered in the area, Tad Forest Valley, Uthuathani Province, a rich and mysterious limestone forest ecosystem, making it home to many rare creatures, including this pink millipede.
Its main characteristic is that its bright colors are not like those of ordinary millipedes, which count not only as beautiful, but also as a warning sign to predators of the poison it can release to fight or prevent harm. Although this poison is mild to humans, it creates irritation if touched directly.
In addition to its distinctive appearance, the pink dragon millipede is considered a symbol of biodiversity in Thailand, a reminder to us of the importance of forest conservation and its special habitat, because only this small area can hide magical creatures that cannot be found anywhere else on earth./หุบป่าตาด
