It’s feed time on the homestead. We have a rooster crowing and hens climbing the bucket like tiny feathered supervisors. We have just downsized our flock. So right now, we have 47 hens and 11 roosters. The girls are giving us about 21 eggs a day in winter. We sell eggs for $0.40 each or 30 fo
