How to browse apps in Mac OS Tahoe changed. Why changed?
Mac users complained after updating the new MacOS Tahoe, because the Launchpad lost the app when swiping four fingers in a way that was familiar to macs for a long time, but it turned out to be a small window that didn't sort the app into folders like the old ones, making it hard to find apps.
Which doesn't understand why it's good to change when it's the same. 😑
I have to find a way to browse nearby apps instead.
1.Use the mouse, left click the Applications in the Tool Bar, drag it to the Dock on the bin side.
2. Drop it next to the trash, then right-click and select Grid.
3. When we left-click, there is a window to include Applications that is easier to see, arranged according to the alignment of characters.
This method cannot call the original App Launchpad, but it should solve some problems. And hopefully the new MacOS update will revert to the original one. 😭🙏

ถ้าใครกำลังงงว่า Launchpad บน Mac คืออะไร: เดิมทีมันคือหน้าจอรวมแอปแบบ “ตาราง” (macbook launchpad screen) ที่เราเรียกได้ไวๆ ด้วยท่าทางปัดบนแทร็กแพด (หลายคนคุ้นกับการปัด 4 นิ้ว) แล้วก็จัดแอปเป็นกลุ่ม/โฟลเดอร์ได้ ทำให้หาแอปเร็วมาก โดยเฉพาะคนที่ลงแอปเยอะๆ แต่พออัปเดต macOS Tahoe (บางคนเรียก macOS 26) หลายเครื่องจะรู้สึกว่า “Launchpad เหมือนหายไป” หรือการเรียกดูแอปไม่เป็นแบบเดิม กลายเป็นหน้าต่างเล็กๆ ที่แอปไม่ถูกจัดเป็นโฟลเดอร์ ทำให้ไล่หาแอปยากขึ้น อันนี้เราเจอเหมือนกัน เลยขอแชร์วิธีเช็ก+ทางลัดที่ช่วยให้กลับมาดูแอปแบบตารางได้ใกล้เคียงเดิมที่สุด 1) เช็กก่อนว่า Launchpad ยังอยู่ไหม - กด Command + Space เพื่อเปิด Spotlight แล้วพิมพ์ “Launchpad” ถ้ายังมีแอป Launchpad อยู่ ให้กดเปิดได้เลย - ถ้าเปิดได้ แนะนำให้ลากไอคอน Launchpad ไปไว้ที่ Dock เพื่อเข้าถึงเร็ว (บางเครื่องอาจไม่สะดวกเหมือนเดิมหลังอัปเดต) 2) ใช้ Applications บน Dock แบบ Grid (วิธีแก้ขัดที่ใกล้ Launchpad) วิธีนี้คือเอาโฟลเดอร์ Applications ไปไว้บน Dock แล้วตั้งค่าเป็น “Grid” เวลาเปิดจะเห็นแอปเป็นตาราง คล้าย Launchpad มากที่สุด - เปิด Finder > มองหา “Applications” ที่แถบด้านข้าง - ลาก “Applications” ไปวางที่ Dock ด้านขวาใกล้ถังขยะ - คลิกขวาที่ไอคอน Applications บน Dock > เลือกแสดงผลเป็น Grid ผลลัพธ์คือได้หน้าต่างรวมแอปเป็นตาราง และมักเรียงตามตัวอักษร ทำให้หาแอปง่ายขึ้น 3) ทริคการหาแอปให้เร็วขึ้น (เวลาหน้าจอเปลี่ยนแล้วงง) - ใช้ Spotlight (Command + Space) แล้วพิมพ์ชื่อแอป: เร็วที่สุดสำหรับคนทำงานจริง - ถ้าแอปอยู่ใน Applications เปิดไม่เจอ: เข้า Finder > Applications แล้วลองเรียงตาม Name หรือใช้ช่องค้นหาใน Finder สรุป: ตอนนี้อาจเรียก Launchpad แบบเดิมไม่ได้เป๊ะๆ แต่การทำ “Applications แบบ Grid บน Dock” เป็นทางลัดที่ใช้งานได้จริงและใกล้เคียงที่สุด ระหว่างรออัปเดตจาก macOS Tahoe ว่าจะปรับประสบการณ์ให้คุ้นมือเหมือนเดิมอีกครั้ง
