$650 Sam’s Club Haul

... Read moreWow, you guys! Just tackled an epic Sam's Club run and wanted to share my strategy for snagging the best deals and stocking up on essentials. If you're anything like me, a big grocery haul can feel overwhelming, but with a little planning, it’s super rewarding, especially when you see those savings add up! This $650 trip really filled up my cart, and I'm already seeing the benefits. First things first, snacks! With back-to-school season in full swing (or just everyday munchies), Sam's Club is my absolute go-to. I always grab those huge boxes of Goldfish crackers – they're an instant hit for lunchboxes or after-school treats. And let's not forget the healthier options; I found MadeGood organic soft baked oat bars this trip, which are a lifesaver for quick breakfasts or a guilt-free snack. My kids also love grabbing the Hostess mini donuts and Donettes, which are great for a sweet surprise. Don't overlook drinks like Punch Pop or individual apple juice boxes; they’re perfect for staying hydrated on the go and easily packed. Beyond snacks, I always hit the fresh produce section. This visit, I stocked up on beautiful, vibrant fresh berries and a big bag of broccoli. Seriously, the quality is fantastic, and buying in bulk means fewer trips to the store throughout the week. For proteins, the packaged beef cuts and ground beef are always essentials for our weeknight dinners. I also grabbed some Jimmy Dean pork sausage rolls and plenty of bacon – breakfast is definitely covered for a while! And if you're looking for something a bit different and super easy, the Del Real birria is a true game-changer for quick, flavorful meals. Pair it with a dollop of Daisy sour cream and you're golden. I always make sure to grab my dairy staples like a big tub of Land O Lakes butter and a variety of cheeses for everything from sandwiches to casseroles. Eggs are another must-have, and you simply can't beat the price per dozen here. For cooking, Member's Mark chicken broth and a large bottle of Bertolli olive oil are always on my list. And for those nights when cooking feels like too much, having Totino's pizza rolls on hand is a serious lifesaver! I also love picking up the Earthbound Farm organic salad for quick, healthy side dishes that require minimal prep. A little tip for smart shopping: make a comprehensive list based on your meal plan for the week (or even two weeks!). It helps you stick to your budget and avoid unnecessary impulse buys, although I admit those Hawaiian Sweet soft pretzels are usually an intentional impulse for me! Once you're home, think about how you'll store everything. For produce, proper refrigeration or even freezing can extend its life. For meat, portioning and freezing is key. Also, don't forget to check out non-food items; I even found a great deal on laundry scent booster this time, which is always a bonus. It’s amazing how much you can save and how much easier your week becomes by buying these things in bulk. My $650 haul covers so much, from main meals to school snacks, making life so much smoother for my busy family. What are your Sam's Club must-haves for a big haul?
