POV: you’re trying to become a content creator while working full time, running businesses, healing, surviving burnout, and still trying to have a life 🤍
One thing I’m slowly learning?
People connect with REAL more than perfect.
Some of my best performing posts were:
rushed
random
unplanned
almost never posted
I used to think I needed: perfect lighting, perfect routines, perfect aesthetics, tons of followers…
But honestly?
Consistency, authenticity, and engagement matter way more than people think.
So if you’re a beginner creator trying to figure it out too: post the content anyway. 🤍
We’re growing slowly over here… but we’re growing.

Read moreStarting out as a content creator while juggling full-time work, running businesses, and managing personal well-being can feel overwhelming, but embracing authenticity helps you find your unique voice. From my experience, the most meaningful connections happen when you share honest moments rather than polishing everything to perfection. It’s okay to post rushed or unplanned snapshots of your day — these often resonate more because they showcase real life.
Consistency is key. It’s less about going viral and more about showing up regularly, even on days when motivation is low or time is tight. Small, consistent efforts build momentum over time and foster engagement with your audience. Don’t stress about follower count at the start; strong engagement from a smaller, loyal community can be more valuable than having a large but passive audience.
Another thing I learned is to be kind to yourself by avoiding unhealthy comparisons. Every creator’s situation varies — some have teams, more time, or better resources, while others have to balance multiple responsibilities. Focus on growing at your own pace and progress will follow. Sometimes, your content can simply be sharing a thought, a quick photo dump, or a behind-the-scenes glimpse.
Engagement matters tremendously, so interact genuinely with your followers by responding to comments or messages. Over time, these relationships create a supportive community that uplifts you. Remember, progress over perfection is the mantra to keep you moving forward, balancing creative goals with real-life demands. Keep going, your journey as a creator is unique and valuable.
