Let’s talk

These past few days been busy, tiring and overwhelming. I’m finally getting a break and that’s giving me to perfect opportunity to debrief right now. Tomorrow I have to bury and friend and when I first found out about the passing I didn’t fully believe it what so ever… so it’s like now that the day we hurry him arrives in less than 24hours it’s really taking a toll on me on top of the other things I deal with. I just want to say my goodbyes to him before he goes to rest so that way I could start my healing process…

As we navigate through these emotions, it's crucial to find outlets for expression, such as writing, talking with friends, or engaging in activities that bring comfort. During times of loss, small wins can be incredibly powerful. These may include simple acts of self-care, setting achievable daily goals, or finding moments of joy in memories shared with the loved one we’re mourning. Writing down our feelings can also serve as a therapeutic exercise, allowing us to process our emotions more effectively. Additionally, connecting with others who have experienced similar losses can provide support and understanding. Remember that there’s no right or wrong way to grieve; it’s a personal journey that unfolds at its own pace. Allowing oneself to grieve openly and seeking help when needed can significantly aid in the healing process. Keep in mind that while grief is a heavy burden to carry, within it are opportunities for growth and remembrance.
