We're all busy and sometimes that's good. Often, being busy is a way to escape or avoid feeling and processing emotions. This ends up holding us back in our lives, even though we often don't realize it. Making the time to face and process these emotions allows us to release the past and emotions and move forward with our lives.
I help survivors of narcissistic abuse reclaim their independence and manage their minds. Healing is inevitable when you have the right tools and support. Never be beholden to anyone again including your own thoughts.

From my own experience, I’ve found that constant busyness often serves as a distraction from confronting difficult emotions, especially when recovering from narcissistic abuse. It’s tempting to fill every moment with activity to avoid feeling pain, but the real healing begins only when you allow yourself to pause and truly process those emotions. Taking time to acknowledge what you’ve endured—whether it’s manipulation, control, or emotional pain—is a crucial step toward reclaiming your independence. When I started facing my feelings head-on, I noticed a significant shift in my mental clarity and overall wellbeing. It helped me stop being controlled by intrusive negative thoughts and regain a sense of control over my own mind. It’s also important to have support during this process. Having access to trusted resources, whether through coaching or peer support communities focused on narcissistic abuse recovery, made a huge difference for me. Tools like journaling, mindfulness practices, and guided consultations help in processing past trauma effectively. Remember, healing isn’t linear, and it requires patience and commitment. If you find yourself overwhelmed by busyness as a form of avoidance, consider setting small intentional moments each day to check in with your emotions. This practice helped me break free from the cycle of being overwhelmed and allowed me to move forward with confidence, no longer beholden to my past or my own thoughts.
