How To Deal With Mental Illness

depression comes in all different ways. it can come and go, be there all the time, or be triggered by certain things.

it’s important to remember that you need to live your life for yourself. you can’t fry and always worry about other people and what they thing or their opinions. don’t let yourself feel like your doing things the wrong way in life or you’re not doing good enough. there is no RIGHT way to live life! constantly remind yourself that you are doing what’s best for YOUR life and you’re not doing ANYTHING wrong.

find things in life that you enjoy and that make you happy. fill your life with people that are there for you and want you to be happy and better in life. if you spend your time with people that constantly put you down, don’t listen to you, and don’t want you to be better then you need to try and remove yourself from that environment. being in places that you don’t feel comfortable in also may be a trigger that you can try to remove yourself from. this can be work, relationships, friendships, etc.

remember that you always need to do what’s best for you and your life. you’re doing amazing.

Surrounding yourself with supportive friends and family is crucial; positive relationships can provide emotional resilience. Additionally, setting healthy boundaries in toxic relationships can alleviate stress and promote emotional well-being. Practicing mindfulness and self-care routines further enhances mental wellness. Techniques like meditation, journaling, and deep breathing exercises can help ground your thoughts and reduce feelings of anxiety. A notebook page with colorful handwritten notes and illustrations about mental health. The title reads "mental health matters!" with "#Break the Stigma." It explains mental health includes emotional, psychological, and social well-being, not just the absence of illness. A scale balances "Mental Illness" factors like stress and anxiety with "Well-Being" factors like therapy and rest. The image also lists aspects of mental health, including handling stress, self-perception, relationships, and finding meaning.
Mental health is more than the absence of illness💙
Too often, we only think of “mental health” when someone is struggling with anxiety or depression. Mental health also includes: 🌸 How we handle stress ☀️ How we see ourselves 🤝 How we build relationships 🌈 How we find meaning in life It’s not about choosing between “illness” or “well
