i just LOVE odd books. the weirder the better! and these three fit the bill for sure. i strongly recommend all of akwaeke emezi’s books, but freshwater has a special hold on me. the last tale of the flower bride (by roshani chokshi) totally enchanted me. it’s got some of my favorite passages
