From the moment I walked through the grand entrance archway, I truly felt like I was transported straight into the Viking village from How to Train Your Dragon. It’s not just a theme park land; it’s like living inside the movies! The attention to detail in this Viking village is stunning. You’ll find incredible rock formations everywhere, making it feel so authentic. I even spotted those impressive large statues of a Viking and a dragon that are perfect for photos – they really capture the spirit of Berk! Walking past the meticulously crafted Viking ship docked in the blue water, it felt like any moment Toothless might swoop by. And speaking of Toothless, the Untrainable Dragon show was so heartwarming; seeing Hiccup and his best friend on stage really brought back all the feels. Now, let's talk about the adventure! Hiccup’s Wing Gliders is such a blast. It’s a family-friendly coaster that gives you just enough thrill to feel like you’re actually soaring alongside a dragon. For a splashier good time, Fyre Drill lets you engage in a water cannon battle, which was hilariously fun. But beyond the rides, the immersive elements are what make this island of Berk so special. I saw a themed DRAGON RACING sign, which added to the fun atmosphere, making you feel part of the bustling Berk community. And you absolutely can’t visit Berk without feasting like a Viking! Mead Hall offers hearty meals and unique beverages, truly making you feel like you’re dining in a grand hall. But I also discovered the SPIT FYRE GRILL, where I tried a delicious savory cone-shaped food item – it was totally unique and hit the spot. Everywhere you look, there are little touches, like the beautifully carved map of Berk with various dragons, sometimes even illuminated by a cool red light, that just deepen the immersion. This Isle of Berk at Epic Universe is a dream come true for any How to Train Your Dragon fan, bringing the entire Viking village with its dragons to vibrant life.
