WHEW CHILE 😮💨
Yall! I decided to finally take a week off from working out and boy ! When I hopped back in it yesterday it was so refreshing , but in the same sentence I was on the struggle bussss! I had to bust a little 1,2 move to keep me going.
Last week was the first time in 4 months that I’ve decided to take a full week off , but in that week I was not focused at all (which was the goal at hand ) , and I reverted to some old ways of mines (which I am still a work in progress) ! Now I feel as though I’m starting over in order to push harder towards a new goal. THATS OKAY (don’t panic right ?). Lol
BOTTOM LINE its okay to go get that work out in and make that place ya dance studio to , because sometimes you just have to dance all the bs out !
BS: Bad Habits , Distractions , Inconsistency, Worries , Stress, Hurt, Etc.
Taking a break from your workout routine can sometimes feel daunting, especially after months of consistency. However, it's vital to recognize the importance of rest for both the mind and body. Allowing yourself time off can lead to renewed energy, creativity, and ultimately a fresher perspective on your fitness goals. When you step back from structured workouts, it's a chance to explore different forms of physical expression, like dance. Dance not only keeps you moving but also helps release pent-up emotions, making it a therapeutic experience. The act of dancing can be an avenue to let go of stress and distractions, allowing you to reconnect with your body's rhythm. For many, the struggle after a break can feel overwhelming. Yet, embracing that challenge is part of the journey. Acknowledge that you might need to ease back into your routine and that it's perfectly normal to feel like you're starting over. Dance can act as a bridge in this process—it’s a fun way to reintroduce movement into your life while alleviating the pressure of traditional workouts. Incorporating dance as a form of exercise also encourages a playful mindset, turning what can be a daunting return to fitness into a joyful experience. So next time you feel the need for a break, remember it’s not about stopping; it’s about finding new ways to keep moving forward!
