cardio helps me maintain & just feel good, but lifting is where i really grow n change🫰🫷😌fueling before the gym lets me put all my energy into my lifts. im eating more than i ever have before my workouts & i have never felt better abt it.
at the end of the day, do what makes YOU feel good, YOU KNOW UR BODY better than anyone else. this is just for anyone who feels fear around food in general. i promise, you shouldnt be worried ab FUEELING yourself. if anything actively rewire ur brain to think -> how freaking good it is that you ARE making that decision to literally level tf up.

Feeling nervous about eating before a workout is more common than many realize, but it’s important to understand why pre-exercise nutrition can be a game changer, especially for lifting sessions. When you fuel up properly, your body has the necessary energy to push harder and recover faster. Cardio workouts may feel manageable on an empty stomach, but weightlifting demands strength and endurance that come from well-timed meals. Consuming carbohydrates and protein before the gym replenishes glycogen stores and supports muscle repair during and after training. This not only boosts your energy but also enhances muscle growth and overall performance. Moreover, changing your mindset around food is vital. Rather than seeing pre-workout meals as a burden or source of fear, try to view them as empowering actions that literally 'level you up.' This positive mental shift helps reduce anxiety linked to eating and encourages a healthier relationship with nutrition. Listening to your body’s signals is key—everyone is different. Some may thrive on a small snack like a banana or yogurt, while others need a more substantial meal. Experiment during non-peak training times to find what fuels you best without discomfort. Remember, food is fuel, and feeding yourself well before exercise prepares your body for success. Embrace the power of nutrition to feel stronger and more confident every time you hit the gym.
