packing as a college study abroad student!

I can’t believe this era of my life is already over!!! If I had one tip for anyone studying abroad in the fall this year, it would be to pack lightly. You don’t need as many clothes as you think you do. I wore the same outfits on repeat, and packing only the essentials saved me so much time and stress when it came time to leave. These vacuum seal bags were a lifesaver, so I definitely recommend getting some if you’re going abroad.

... Read morePacking efficiently for a study abroad experience is crucial for minimizing stress and maximizing enjoyment. Begin by planning your outfits based on versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched. This allows you to reduce the number of clothing items while still looking stylish. Consider the climate of your destination and pack accordingly, focusing on lightweight layers. Utilizing vacuum seal bags is an excellent strategy to save space in your luggage. They allow you to pack more items while maintaining an organized suitcase. Additionally, make sure to include essential documents like your passport, visa, and any necessary medical information. Don't forget to pack a small bag with items you will need immediately upon arrival, such as toiletries and chargers. Lastly, consider the opportunities for laundry at your destination, as it often allows you to pack even lighter. With these tips, your study abroad adventure will be hassle-free, leaving you more time to explore and enjoy your new surroundings.
