Meals I ate recently as a dietitian
Some meals I ate recently for inspiration - plus some wild cards because I like to have fun with food!
Also just now realizing most of these involve rice lol but nothing wrong with that - it’s versatile!

As a dietitian, I find joy in creating vibrant and nutritious meals that not only satisfy hunger but also excite the palate. One fun way to inspire healthy eating is to incorporate versatile ingredients, such as rice, which can serve as a base for numerous dishes. For example, my ginger garlic salmon paired with green beans and brown rice makes for a balanced meal rich in protein and healthy fats. Another nutritious option is the ground venison tacos with roasted poblano cashew crema. These tacos are not only packed with flavor but also provide a great source of lean protein and essential nutrients. Additionally, the sweet chili turkey and rice bowl is a delightful blend of flavors, offering an excellent post-workout meal option. Tofu katsu curry is another exciting dish worth mentioning. By adding red lentils to the curry, you can increase the dish's protein content while still keeping it plant-based. Furthermore, meals like shrimp poke bowls topped with mango cucumber salad create a refreshing and light option perfect for hot days. It’s important to have fun with food, as I often do with unique combinations like banana, peanut butter, and Nutella chicken and waffle sandwiches – a whimsical twist that adds variety to meal planning. Overall, these meals showcase how a healthy lifestyle can coexist with enjoyable eating experiences while promoting a holistic approach to nutrition.
